The sheriff does not publish jail-office hours, a booking-photo fee schedule, or a guaranteed response time. Call the jail for an urgent custody question. Use the official Madison County NextRequest portal for a historical booking record, intake photograph, or release record. Then route other needs by record type:
- For the full county booking and photo path, start at the Madison County recent-arrests hub.
- For a very recent booking, review the Daily Arrest Report route or call the jail because no public live roster was verified.
- For a wider date range, use the Weekly Arrest Log guidance and submit a focused written request.
- For a Rexburg Police incident report, use the city’s public-records form. Sugar City law enforcement is provided through Madison County.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search or its JustFOIA records portal.
- For custody alerts, use Idaho VINE. Court outcomes belong in Idaho iCourt, not the jail intake record.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator. County staff do not control those systems.
